The Domaine de La Croix wine trail

Le Domaine de La Croix has set itself the challenge of combining education and relaxation. And how do we do that? By offering you the chance to explore its grounds and interiors in complete autonomy on a unique and fun wine tourism trail. Take a gourmet stroll through the vineyards and dive into the bowels of the building!

Once you’ve scanned the QR code, head outside the building. It won’t take you long to use the map to find your first stop. It’s right next to the vineyards that stretch as far as the eye can see. The first signs you come across on your walk will tell you more about Domaine de La Croix, its history, its terroirs, its know-how and its wines. All this as you walk through the vines.

You’ll also be able to find out more about the origins of the Provençal vine, discover key figures about the world of wine and explore maps of the Provençal vineyards. Did you know that, historically, Provence was the very first vineyard in France?

But before you read on, how could you not first indulge in the sensations? Close your eyes and feel the warm Provencal sun – whose rays are unobstructed by clouds – caress your skin. From the comfort of the umbrella pines, the birds and bees will offer you a private concert. If you discover the route in spring, you’ll have the chance to hear the song of a brook flowing nearby. But if you go for a walk in summer, the cicadas will inevitably be part of the music.

Close to the vineyards, the flora along the path will amaze you with its variety, which also changes with the seasons: poppies, dandelions, thistles, etc. Discover also the trees that make up the landscape: palms, mimosas, holm oaks, umbrella pines, etc. The list seems endless. And so is our pleasure when we look at them. This setting of lush vegetation, not far from the turquoise Mediterranean, will leave you with a sweet memory… and perhaps make you want to stay for life.

Once you’re back near the reception area, don’t hesitate to smell the sweet scent of jasmine wafting across the Domaine’s façade. Then head down to our cellar, where the fabulous nectar is made with expertise, rigour and, above all, a great deal of love. Has this informative and enjoyable stroll through the vineyards awakened your senses and made your mouth water? We look forward to seeing you in the tasting room.

A pleasant wine tour to share with family and friends, without moderation. And to make the most of this exceptional Provencal setting, we invite you to our summer concerts in July and August.
