THE ASSETS OF DOMAINE DE LA CROIX
The vineyard of Domaine de La Croix, the largest of the Côtes de Provence Crus Classés, benefits from a seaside location and an exceptional microclimate.
In the world of Provence Crus Classés, Domaine de La Croix has a unique maritime territory that imparts the wines with a distinctive, complex, and elegant character.
The sun-drenched grape varieties benefit from maritime influences, enhancing their development. The estate’s diverse terroirs, including the gem Bastide Blanche near the sea, produce high-quality grapes. The sandy-schistose soils allow deep root penetration, making the vines less sensitive to water scarcity and enhancing the complexity and finesse of the aromas.
Beyond the quality of its terroirs, Domaine de La Croix boasts a cutting-edge 3,500 m2 cellar, seamlessly integrated into its classified environment as it is buried under 8 meters of earth. Designed by Tropezian architect François Vieillecroze, it features state-of-the-art equipment for ultra-precise vinifications.
Its ambition: to shine as a Cru Classé
In 1955, Domaine de La Croix earned the coveted title of Cru Classé de Provence for the superior quality of its terroirs, climate, and expertise. Today, it continues to honor this exceptional title and aims to showcase it worldwide.
Thanks to the huge amount of work undertaken in the vineyard and the ultra-precise vinification carried out by the team, Domaine de La Croix has returned to excellence.
